A quiet corner of Merton
Merton Park grew up around the John Innes estate, and much of it is a conservation area with wide, leafy streets and Arts and Crafts houses. It is mainly residential, which means most of our Merton Park bookings start at people's front doors. Some of the roads are narrow with parking on both sides, so if there is an easier spot for the driver to stop, let us know when you book.
Trams and trains
Merton Park has its own tram stop on the line between Wimbledon and Croydon, but there is no main line station. For longer journeys, residents usually need to go to Wimbledon or into central London first. A car can take you straight to Wimbledon station for a fast train, or all the way to a London terminus. Our Waterloo and Victoria station taxis are both straightforward runs.
School runs and local journeys
Merton Park has several schools, including Rutlish School on Watery Lane, and plenty of families. Parents can arrange a regular school run taxi with child seats on request. We also drive residents to shops in Wimbledon and Morden, doctors' appointments and the hospitals at St Helier and St George's.
Airport runs from Merton Park

Morden Hall Park and Morden town centre
Merton Park is next door to Morden, and many residents use Morden town centre for shopping and the Northern line. Morden Hall Park, the National Trust estate along the River Wandle, is a short drive away and makes a good family day out. We can drop you at the entrance and collect you later, which avoids hunting for a parking space on a sunny weekend.

For residents who need the same journey every week, such as a clinic visit, a dialysis session or a regular social group, we can set up a standing booking. Tell us the days, times and addresses, and we will try to keep the same driver where the rota allows. It saves phoning in each time and gives you a familiar face at the door.
