7 seater or 8 seater?
Our largest vehicles are 7/8 seaters. For most bookings the question is not really the exact number of seats but how many people there are plus how much they are carrying. A party of seven with cabin bags is a straightforward job. A party of seven with a suitcase each for a fortnight away needs more careful planning, and may be better split between a large vehicle and an estate car.
Give us the full picture when you book and we will recommend the combination that gets everyone and everything there in one trip. If a 6 seater MPV would do the job, we will tell you, as it is usually the cheaper option.
Large group taxi to the airport
The most common use for a 7 seater is a family or group holiday. Travelling in one vehicle means you check in together, nobody is left waiting at the terminal for the second car, and there is one flight to track on the way home. Groups from Rosehill most often fly from Gatwick and Heathrow, but we run 7 seaters to Stansted, Luton and London City as well.
For early morning departures, book well ahead. Large vehicles are in the highest demand on Friday evenings and at the start of the school holidays, and they are the first to be fully booked.
Station transfers with lots of luggage
Trains are a good way to travel, but getting a big group and their bags on and off the Tube is not. A 7 seater can collect you from home and drop you right outside King's Cross, Paddington or Euston for long-distance trains, or bring you back from London Bridge after a trip to the coast.
Occasions and events
We also carry groups to weddings, christenings, milestone birthdays, funerals and sporting events. On those days, arriving together matters, and a large car saves anyone having to organise lifts. For events, give us the venue address, the time you need to arrive and the time you would like to leave. If the return time is uncertain, we can agree a way for you to call us when you are ready.
Picking up a group from more than one address
Not every group starts from the same front door. Friends heading to the same party, or relatives meeting for the airport, may be spread across Cheam, Carshalton and Morden. We can plan a single vehicle to collect from several addresses in order, as long as the stops are booked in advance. Give us every address, the number of people at each one, and the time you need to arrive at the end. We will work out the pickup times and let each person know when to be ready. Extra stops are included in the fixed fare when they are booked, so there are no surprises on the day.
Comfort on longer journeys
With more space for everyone, a larger vehicle makes a long drive easier on the whole group, especially older passengers or anyone with limited mobility. If someone needs the front seat or a seat near the door, just tell us when you book. Child seats are available on request, so please list the ages of any children travelling.
How the fare works for larger vehicles
Like all our journeys, a 7 seater booking has a fixed fare for the vehicle, not per passenger. You see it before you confirm, and it does not go up if the M25 is slow. You can pay by card or cash, and one person can pay for the whole group.
Where we collect from

Questions we get asked
What is the difference between your 6 seater and 7 seater taxis?
Our 7/8 seaters carry more passengers, or the same number of passengers with more room for luggage. If you are unsure which you need, give us the number of people and bags and we will recommend one.
Can a 7 seater take 7 people and 7 large suitcases?
Not always. When every seat is in use, luggage space is limited. For large groups with a lot of luggage, we may suggest a second car, so please give us full luggage details.
How early should I book a 7 seater for the airport?
As early as possible, especially for school holidays, bank holiday weekends and early morning flights, when large vehicles are in most demand.
Can you provide more than one 7 seater for a big group?
Yes, if we have vehicles available at that time. Call the office so we can check and coordinate the pickups.
