The usual route to Luton
From Rosehill, most drivers join the M25 at junction 8 and head west, past the Heathrow junctions and round to the M1 at junction 21, then go north to junction 10 for the airport. It is the simplest route and avoids central London. On the rare occasions when the western M25 is badly blocked, the driver may instead go north through London on the A1 or up the Edgware Road. In either case you pay the fixed fare you were quoted.
Why a car to Luton makes sense from Sutton
Luton is well served by trains from central London. From Sutton you would take a train into town, continue north to Luton Airport Parkway, then ride the shuttle up to the terminal. It works well for one person with light luggage. But with bags, children, or a very early flight, the changes and the walk at each end add up. A taxi from Sutton to Luton is door to door, and for two or more people the fixed fare can compare well with separate rail tickets.
At the airport
Luton has one passenger terminal. The airport charges for cars using the drop-off zone next to it, and we will tell you how that is handled in your fare when you book. For your return, give us your flight number. We track the flight, and with meet and greet your driver will wait in arrivals with your name. Otherwise the driver will call you when you are through with your bags.
Timing for early flights
Like Stansted, Luton is a base for budget and holiday airlines, and their first departures of the day leave early. That can mean a pickup in Sutton in the middle of the night. We are open 24/7, but please book as early as you can, especially at the start of school holidays when demand is high. If you prefer a night's sleep near the airport, ask about a hotel transfer.
Space for the whole group
A long motorway drive is more comfortable with room to stretch. For families and groups, a 6 seater MPV or a 7/8 seater taxi keeps everyone and the cases together. Child seats are available on request; mention the ages of any children when you book.
Meeting family arriving from abroad
Many Luton bookings are for relatives arriving to visit family in Sutton and Merton. You can book in your own name for someone else. Give us their name, mobile number with country code, and flight number. With meet and greet, the driver will wait in arrivals with a name board, which is reassuring for anyone who has not been to London before.
Other airports we serve
Luton is one of five London airports we cover. Heathrow is on the way to Luton and much closer, Gatwick is our shortest airport run, and we go to Stansted and London City as well. If you are heading north by rail instead, see our King's Cross and Euston station taxis. We collect for Luton from Sutton, Merton Park, Raynes Park and the rest of the areas we cover.

Typically 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the M25. We add a margin to your pickup time for traffic.

For one person with light bags, the train is usually cheaper. For two or more people, or with lots of luggage, a fixed-fare car often works out well. Get a quote from the form above to compare.
