Cheam village and North Cheam
Cheam is really two places. The old village, with its crossroads, independent shops and historic Whitehall house, sits just west of Sutton. North Cheam is about a mile to the north, around the junction of London Road and Malden Road, and is busier and more commercial. They are different journeys, so please give us the full address and postcode when you book a minicab in Cheam.
Nonsuch Park and days out
Nonsuch Park, on the Ewell side of Cheam, is a favourite for walks and family days, with the Mansion and its café at the centre. Its car parks fill up on sunny weekends, so a car to the gate can be the easiest way in. Dog owners going for a long walk can book our pet friendly taxi; just mention the dog when booking.
Cheam station and trains
Cheam station has Southern trains towards Sutton, Epsom and London. For long journeys with luggage, or when the trains are not convenient, we take people from Cheam straight to London's terminals. Our Waterloo station taxi and Victoria station taxi are the most requested runs.
Schools and families
Cheam has many popular schools, and some children travel across the borough to reach them. Parents can arrange a regular school run taxi with child seats on request. For family trips or larger groups, a 6 seater or 7 seater taxi fits everyone in one car.
Airports from Cheam
Gatwick is to the south via the A217, typically about 40 minutes away. Heathrow is reached west through Worcester Park and Kingston, or round the M25. We also cover Luton and the other London airports.
Worcester Park, Ewell and Epsom
From Cheam, we regularly drive west to Worcester Park and south to Ewell village and Epsom. Epsom Downs racecourse is only a few miles away, and on Derby Day in June the roads towards the Downs become very busy. If you are going to the races or another big event at the course, book early, allow plenty of time and agree a pickup point away from the main entrances for the journey home.
Booking for school friends and clubs
Cheam families often share lifts to sports clubs, matches and parties. If several children are travelling together, a larger vehicle means one booking instead of several. Tell us how many children there are, their ages and any child seat requirements, and who will be at each end to hand over. We will pass the details to the driver.
Areas next to Cheam
From Cheam, we also cover Sutton to the east and Carshalton beyond it, plus Worcester Park and Ewell. See all our areas we cover.
Questions we get asked
Do you cover North Cheam as well as Cheam village?

How long does it take a car to reach Cheam?
Typically 10 to 15 minutes from our base at Rosehill, depending on traffic through Sutton.
Can you take me to Nonsuch Park with my dog?
Yes. Tell us about the dog when you book so we can send a driver who is happy to carry pets.
How long is a taxi from Cheam to Gatwick?
Typically around 40 minutes via the A217 or the M25, depending on traffic.
Can you take us to Epsom Downs on Derby Day?
