Booking and timing

How far ahead should I book?

For local trips, booking an hour or so ahead is usually enough, and we can often send a car sooner. For airport runs, early morning starts, or anything during school holidays, book as early as you can. A day's notice is sensible, and more is better for larger vehicles.

What time should I leave for my flight?

We will suggest a pickup time when you book, based on the airport, the time of day and how early your airline wants you there. As a rough guide, allow the typical drive time from Rosehill plus a buffer for traffic, plus the check-in time your airline recommends. Our airport pages for Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City give typical journey times.

Can I book a return journey at the same time?

Yes. Give us both dates and times, and for the return leg, your flight or train number. We will set up both journeys in one go.

Fares and payment

How are fares worked out?

Fares are fixed when you book, based on the pickup, destination, vehicle type and time. You see the price before you confirm, and it does not change because of traffic on the day.

What payment methods do you take?

We accept card and cash. If you would prefer to pay a particular way, mention it when booking.

Are there extra charges for waiting or parking?

Airport car parks charge for pickups and drop-offs, and some airports charge a drop-off fee. We will explain what is included in your quote when you book. If a journey needs to change on the day, for example an extra stop, tell the office so the price can be confirmed.

Luggage, children and pets

How many suitcases fit in a car?

It depends on the vehicle and how many passengers are travelling, since the boot and spare seats share the space. Tell us your bag count when booking. Estate cars have longer boots, and our 6 seater and 7 seater vehicles suit groups with luggage.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, on request. Please give the child's age when booking so we can bring a suitable seat. Parents booking regular journeys can find more on our school run taxi page.

Can I bring my dog?

Assistance dogs are always welcome. For pets, tell us when booking so we can send a driver who is happy to carry them. Our pet friendly taxi page has the details.

On the day

How will I find my driver at the airport?

If you book meet and greet, your driver waits inside arrivals with a name board. We track your flight, so they will adjust to the time you actually land.

What if my train or flight is delayed?

For flights, we track the arrival time. For trains, message or call us as soon as you know about the delay so we can adjust the pickup.

How do I cancel?

Call or message us as early as possible, and we will explain how cancellations are handled for your booking.

Quick answers

Do you cover journeys outside London?

Yes. As well as local and airport trips, we take bookings for longer journeys. Ask for a quote with the full destination address.

Is there a minimum fare?

Short journeys still need a driver to travel to you, so very short trips may have a minimum price. The booking form shows the exact fare before you confirm.

Can one booking include several stops?

Yes. Add each stop when you book, in order, so the fare covers the whole route.

Do your drivers help with luggage?

Drivers will help load and unload bags at the kerb. If anyone in your party needs extra help getting in or out of the car, please tell us when booking.

Can I get a receipt for work expenses?

Yes. Email us with the date, time and pickup postcode of the journey, and we will send a receipt.
